Leamington Music is delighted to include two one-hour concerts from the Coull Quartet in the Midsummer Music Festival. The Coull has long-championed the music of the Leamington-born composer Robert Simpson, and commissioned his Quartet No 10 (which features in the second concert) for their tenth anniversary celebrations in 1984. Simpson himself was a champion of Sibelius and Haydn which makes for a lovely connection in this first programme.
